The Stone Roses - Garage Flower 1996

Year: 1996

Dismissed by The Roses as nothing more than a bootleg, the release is still a vital piece in the band’s early history.

The Garage Flower release finally saw the majority of the Roses demos and out-takes see the light of day but there is still a few rarities to be issued commercially.

Including, “I Wanna Be Adored” Second demo version, “Elephant Stone” Demo version with different lyrics, “Going Down” Acoustic demo version, “Hardest Thing In The World” Early demo with different lyrics, “Just A Little Bit” Second demo, “Shoot You Down” Demo with drum machine, “Sugar Spun Sister” Demo, “The Sun Still Shines” Never released commercially, and “Waterfall” Demo version.

Garage Flower was originally a bootleg recording titled 'Misery Dictionary'. The tracks were rearranged and crisped up slightly for the newer release.
